The Adventure Learning Center designs creative programs for youth and adults.  Our professional staff will work with you to create an exciting and educational experience to meet the goals of the group.  Examples of programming areas may include trust, teamwork, leadership, cooperation, developing relationships, setting goals, communication, culture change and character development.

All programs are based on the "Challenge by Choice" philosophy, giving individuals the power to participate at a level that is comfortable to them.  It is our goal that each participant will stretch themselves on a personal, emotional, mental, physical or professional level while on the course. It is within that stretch that the experiential learning process occurs, thus producing a positive outcome for that individual and the whole team.

Low Challenge Course
The low course invites teams to work together to solve problems, communicate and to develop trust with one another to accomplish a task.  The challenges are a mixture of mental and physical tasks that lead to success!  Groups learn to develop team strategies capitalizing on their work styles, strengths and overall goals.

High Challenge Course
This adventure challenges you to take a risk and step outside of your comfort zone 40 feet above ground.  Set among telephone poles, participants navigate up and across climbing walls, nets, cables, logs, and swinging platforms while being safely belayed by our professionally trained staff.  . Climbers can take a step off of our Zip Platform and glide through 200 feet of tree tops.  Participants must complete the low challenge course prior to advancing to the high course.

Portable Challenge
Let us bring the Adventure to you!  Our portable challenge program can be implemented on site at your workplace, conference room, gymnasium, parks, or any open space.

Colors Personality Assessment
The Colors program is a relatively short and readily understandable way to group people into 4 personality temperaments and help them learn to recognize, accept, and value differences in others.   It is an extremely effective team-building workshop that promotes harmony and mutual respect.

Colors is based on Jungian (Carl Jung) personality theory and has been researched and refined in recent decades by Myers-Briggs and David Kiersey.  Participants fill out a very brief answer sheet and are then divided into 4 groups based on their "color" -- blue, green, orange, or gold.

Learn your color style and use it in conjunction with the challenge course experience to improve your skills set at school or in the workplace. Programs are available for adults and young adults in high school. en
