Five Signs Your Team is Canoeing in the Wrong Dire

1. Your compass is broken. Vision and goals gives team members direction and confidence.

     2. Larry in IT has a red mark across his face and Bob in accounting is holding a broken paddle. Effective communication is essential when working as a team.

3. No one has a niche; everyone is trying to paddle and steer. The difference between two equally talented teams pursuing similar goals is the participant's willingness and ability to become the best in their field.

4. Some team members showed up ready to kayak, while others thought the team was white water rafting. Shared values define the team and its ability to prepare participants for the unexpected.

5. Too many people have decided to enjoy the scenery. When teammates decide to sit back and watch other people work it can be the difference between winning and losing the race.
