The Challenge for Healthy Relationships and portable challenges provided by the Adventure Learning Center has done wonders for my middle school girls group. The girls are learning to trust themselves and each other. The girls are learning to respect and value one another's differences. Their confidence is soaring and this program has helped my group immensely. Thanks to Melissa and the team at the Adventure Learning Center!!

Both are experiential programs designed to build and foster individual/group success.
Success in teamwork, communication, and goal setting/attainment are just a few areas exposed in these awesome programs.

Challenge for Healthy Relationships uses trained and professional staff to work groups through a sequence of ice-breakers, cooperative games and problem solving initiatives. The activities are framed around a variety of aspects of relationships including trust, communication, goal setting, decision making and healthy choices (will include sexuality and STI’s unless otherwise noted). Taking the opportunity to process the activities around relationships, the entire sequence has been framed around the full Value Contract as a guideline for a healthy relationship. This program helps your school meet the Iowa Code for pregnancy prevention and must be completed prior to June 30th, 2010. (Serves Polk, Warren, and Dallas County)
